Mark W. Gifford, OD
Dr. Gifford grew up in Rogers, Arkansas. After graduating from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, he went on to the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry to complete his doctoral training where he graduated first in his class. His areas of interest include diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, specialty contact lens fitting, dry eye treatment, and family vision care.
Prior to his move to Charlotte, Dr. Gifford was a partner in a group optometric practice in southeast Missouri. He prides himself on providing the most comprehensive, personalized care possible. He is a member of the Piedmont Optometric Society, North Carolina State Optometric Society, and American Optometric Association. When not in the office, Dr. Gifford spends most of his time with his wife Corrie and their daughter Addison.
Our Staff
As you begin your visit at Vision Care Associates, you will be greeted by our caring staff. With their years of experience in the optometric field, Renee, Kristy, and Krisie will help to take care of you in preparation for your appointment with Dr. Gifford. They are available to assist with insurance questions, contact lens training, vision testing, and a myriad of other tasks that arise in the office.
