Digital Eye Imaging
See what the doctor sees! Did you ever wonder
what the inside of your eye looks like? We use
state of the art digital photography with the Optos
Retinal Imaging System to document your ocular
status and enable you to see the health of your
eyes from the inside. The Optos system does not
require the use of dilating eye drops in most
patients. That means, no side effects; no blurred
vision and no light sensitivity when you leave the
office. The Optos retinal image is an efficient,
convenient alternative to a dilated retinal exam for
screening the eyes for such conditions as
glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cancer in the
eye. Of course, a dilated exam will be performed
should the Optos photo show any abnormalities.

LASIK Consultation
Dr. Gifford works in conjunction with local LASIK specialists to provide preoperative and postoperative care for LASIK candidates. If you are interested in refractive surgery as an option to correct your vision, discuss it with Dr. Gifford at your next visit.
